Contacts not formatting with the ( ).
I have read the other posts regarding this. 2 weeks ago I redid my address
book and all worked fine. Now if I type a 10 digit phone number, it does not format. It looks like this 4257770000, underlined. I checked the O/S control panelmodem, and it is set with my location and area code . XP Pro & Outlook 2000. Thanks,jp |

Normally that's all that is required for phone numbers to be masked
correctly. There is something else wrong with your configuration but we can't tell what from here. If you look at Outlook's dialing options, does everything appear there as it should? You should see both your location and area code in Dialing Properties Dialing Rules and you should see your line type specified "Connect using line..." -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "john" wrote in message ...
