Hello -
I was updating a distributuion group today and found something odd. When I went to 'Select Members', I scrolled down to find the person I wanted to add - and found that the same person was listed twice - and a few others had three entries. I went to 'contacts' and verified that each person only has one profile and only one email address listed in their profile. Any ideas why this is happening - and how to resolve? Thanks! |

Outlook will display an entry in the Addess Book for every electronic address a contact has defined. This can be up to five: E-mail, E-mail2, E-mail3, FAX, and Pager. You can't change this without either not entering data in those field, changing them to be unrecognizable to Outlook as the type of address they are, or purchasing an add-in that forces the hiding of them in the Address Book. For example, adding the letter "F" to the front of the FAX number will prevent the Address Book from displaying an entry for the FAX number, but it will also break the ability of a FAX add-in to use that number. -- Brian Tillman |

Thanks, Brian!
Adding the 'F' before fax# and 'P' before pager# solved the problem. "Brian Tillman" wrote: CCNE wrote: I was updating a distributuion group today and found something odd.
