![]() Outlook 2003 gives me an error saying that some folders have been moved or deleted and when I click on help it says something about not having enough permissions and that I should delete my emails because I must have 2 terabytes of info. Hardly!! How do I get this to go away and so I can add new contacts? Really weird. -Nathan -- mrtitanicbuff ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrtitanicbuff's Profile: http://www.officehelp.in/member.php?userid=4725 View this thread: http://www.officehelp.in/showthread.php?t=1232626 Posted from - http://www.officehelp.in |

Describe the steps you took to produce this problem. State the size of your
Outlook Data file. State what action produces the error message and describe it more accurately. Tell us what this has to do with Contacts. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "mrtitanicbuff" wrote in message ... ![]() I only have about 300-400 contacts. Now, for some reason, when I go to add a new contact I get the error message described earlier. When I click on help it says something about not having enough permissions. The problem is on another machine I am using so I don't have the exact error message to copy and paste here. -- mrtitanicbuff ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrtitanicbuff's Profile: http://www.officehelp.in/member.php?userid=4725 View this thread: http://www.officehelp.in/showthread.php?t=1232626 Posted from - http://www.officehelp.in |

You'll need to provide the rest of the information I requested, including
the size and location of your Outlook data file and what steps caused this installation to stop working. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... ![]() Ok lets try this again. The data file is either about 2 megs. I am in contacts. I click 'new' contact. I add the information to the contact. I click 'save and close'. I get the following message: "Item could not be saved t o this folder. Folder has been deleted or moved or you do not have permission. Do you want to save a copy of it in the default folder for the item? Y/N" When you click on the help button: "Usually this error message appears when your mailbox has exceeded the size restriction of two terabytes. Or you have possibly exceeded the mailbox size limit established by your administrator. To eliminate this issue, archive or delete message until the size of the mailbox is less than the limitation imposed by the admistrator or is less than two terabytes, whichever is smaller." Those are the exact steps that I take. Nothing more or less. -- mrtitanicbuff ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mrtitanicbuff's Profile: http://www.officehelp.in/member.php?userid=4725 View this thread: http://www.officehelp.in/showthread.php?t=1232626 Posted from - http://www.officehelp.in |

And your claim is that his behavior started suddenly, for no reason after no
changes on your part? Have you tried any routine maintenance like repairing your PST file or creating a new profile? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "mrtitanicbuff" wrote in message ... ![]() Not that I can think of. I have reinstalled Office twice now. Same thing. Something like that doesn't happen all by itself. I would not expect
reinstalling to help. Try what I posted instead. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "mrtitanicbuff" wrote in message ... Not that I can think of. I have reinstalled Office twice now. Same thing. What is your question? Do you need me to repost, or do you not understand
what I posted? Repair your PST file. Create a new profile from scratch with a new name. Post back with results.
