Default How to send email message to 1 member of a contact group, not all?

How do I send an email message to only one member of a contact group? I have
groups with 40-50 contacts, but I don't want to send everyone a message. I
want to be able to select several members to send a message to. Can this be
done? I am using Mircosoft Office 2003

What do you mean by contact group? There is no such term in Outlook. Why
wouldn't you just send the message to that Contact?

If you mean Distribution List, then put the DL in the recipient field, click
the plus sign to its left to expand it, and remove the addresses you don't
want toi include.
