How do I divide an existing distribution list in Outlook?

My boss' contacts are quite lengthy and I would like to divide the existing
one into, for example, a-m, n through z.

Copy the lengthy DL (right-clickdrag-and-dropCopy), rename the copy, then
edit each to remove what you don't want.
