I have a user that has all of his contacts in separate .msg files on disk (he
took these with him from another insitution - did not export as .pst file). I am unable to convert them in Outlook or import them into the address book on his new computer. I searched for help on the web, but everything I find refers to .msg files as messages and not addresses. Also, I have tried a couple of free programs that are supposed to convert, but to no avail. There are 1500 individual contacts, therefore, re-entering is not an option. Any advice would be appreciated. |

An msg file can be a contact, a note or e-mail. Mostly it is an email..
Did you try drag and drop? I tried and it worked very well. Just open the directory and MS Outlook together (tiled) and drag the msg files to the Outlook contact folder. John,
This worked!! Thank you so much! I have spent hours trying to figure this out. "John" wrote: An msg file can be a contact, a note or e-mail. Mostly it is an email.. Did you try drag and drop?
