I have two problems that appear to be related. First, when I click on the
address icon in Outlook 2003 I get an error message that the Address List
could not be displayed and the Contacts folder cannot be opened because it
has been moved, deleted, or I don't have permissions. If I click on the
Contact tab, however, I do go to the (empty) Contacts folder (it is empty
because I haven't put anything in it yet, which leads to the real problem).
Second, when I try to import a Contacts list (from the Contacts list of
another computer) I get all the way to the 'import location' window of the
wizard and it doesn't give me a choice for where to import to...no browse,
etc. The 'next' button is also grayed out. Effectively, it stops there and
won't allow the import to continue. Any ideas on what could be the cause? I
had imported my mail messages from a backed up Outlook file previously
(successfully) and wonder if that did something to the Contacts list??
