Outlook 2003, Tools\Options\Contact Options I have selected "Check for
duplicate contacts". Outlook help says this is supposed to do the following... "If you save a contact with the same name or e-mail name as one that already exists in your Contacts folder, Microsoft Outlook will display a dialog box that allows you to either add the new contact or update your existing contact with the new information from the new contact." but I never get the dialog box when I enter a duplicate name. Help! |

Do your contacts use a custom form? THat's the one known cause of the duplicate checking not working.

Yes, all forms are custom, but nothing changed on the first page so I still
