I recently changed laptops and added my Contacts.pst file to my new
profile. However the folder tree view shows a folder of "Contacts" on the top level, but only Deleted Items and Search Items on the next level when expanding the tree. How to I get the Address Cards to show in the folder list? Seems I have had this happen before and I cant recall how to fix the view. Thanks in advance. |

State more clearly what you did to "add my Contacts.pst to my new profile."
State what you mean by "folder tree view." -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Del" wrote in message ps.com... I recently changed laptops and added my Contacts.pst file to my new profile. Try switching to the Folder List or Contacts navigation pane. It sounds like you are looking at the Mail pane.

I created a new profile and used Data File Management to add the pst
file that contains my Contact items. When I do that I get a Contacts folder in the folder tree but the Address Cards do not display. They do show up in the mini icon for Contacts at the bottom of the left pane so I know they are available. Thanks Sue for taking my lowly question. I though I was looking at
Folder List view but OL help suggested how to turn this on in the Navagation pane. This solved the problem. And thanks for years of help. Signed, a former DECie Mail and Messaging consultant. Then I suspect you are not using Folder List view at all. Try it. Select
from the icon at the bottom of the NAV pane. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Del" wrote in message ups.com...
