I have a new HP iPAQ hx2190. In Contacts, I use the "Notes" section . But,
with this device I appear to have lost chunks of text in the section. The
following item explains the issue: QUOTE [Text truncated on device.
Modification of these items on the device will overwrite full text on
desktop] UNQUOTE.

It is disturbing that a required upgrade to a new device has been full of
shortcomings & less than satisfactory!

My question is as follows: How do I prevent & stop the device from
truncating my information in the "Notes" section of Contacts?
With thanks

This isn't an Outlook question, in my opinion, and would be better asked in
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.pocketpc or
..pocketpc.activesync
