Unhappy Import .pst Contacts Archive

Hi, I had to format computer. Exported all contacts into .pst, and am now trying to import them again. It's not happening. Nothing is happening. I ran a repair on the file using scanpst, and tried again and still nothing. Please can someone help me get these contacts back? My boss is gonna kill me....
