when I try to forward an email that contact is not in the To: contact list. |

The To: contact list? What is that?
If the contact does not appear in the address book view, then you did not add it to the Contact Folder you are displaying in the address book view. -- Russ Valentine "Peter" wrote in message ... When I click 'Forward' a new message box opens with the options To: CC: and BCC: if I click the To: button my Contacts folder opens but the contact I want is not there. If I go back to the main Outlook page and click on Contacts, I have four separate lists of contacts, if I click on the main Contacts list the contact I am looking for is there. |

I run WinXP SP3 and Outlook 2007. I add a contact to the Contacts folder but when I try to forward an email that contact is not in the To: contact list. Perhaps I am doing this incorrectly. If I open a new email and wish to send it it to multiple recipients I click the To: button and a dialogue box opens saying 'Select Names: Contacts', in that list are the people I mostly send email to, is that list exactly the same as in the Contacts folder? If it is, there is one email address that is not there although it is present in the Contacts folder. Also, when I go to 'Select Names: Contacts' and try to invoke the Address Book it says 'No entries in this address book. I am really getting confused now as to where my contacts are located and should I be using the Address Book in some way? |

As I said, you are not displaying the correct Contact Folder in the Outlook
Address Book view. Why do you have 4? You'll need to enable all 4 as electronic address books for them all to appear in that view. Do so in the properties for each folder. -- Russ Valentine "Peter" wrote in message ... "Russ Valentine" wrote in message ... The To: contact list? What is that?
