Hello All,
I have been trying to get Gmail in outlook for offline availability. Now I have emails in outlook but the view is not thrreaded like Gmail. I managed to club the emails by using View - Arrange By - Conversation. This doesn't include sent messages. I would like to have all cnversation in one thread, whether its reply that I have received or any response I have sent, exactly like Gmail. Can anyone help me in figuring out, how can I do this? Thanks in advance. |

IMAP or POP?
Outlook doesn't support such a view. Gmail uses one folder and labels to group into virtual folders while outlook uses a folder structure. However, if you use IMAP, you'll have a group of folders under [Gmail] and the sent messages will be with the new messages under All Mail. BTW, if you use IMAP, see their recommended settings - it's linked at the bottom of the IMAP acct setup page. http://mail.google.com/support/bin/a...92&ctx=sibling -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com.
