We are getting ready to deploy Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007. I am
going to need every user to have the Green color category renamed to "M" and have an inbox ruled that assigns that category to any mail from someone in the GAL. I would like to avoid having to set the category and the rule on each individual's machine after deployment. Is it possible to customize the installation of Outlook to have the rule and category already set? Thanks, Kenny |

The only way to do that would be to run Outlook automation code. You can use
Group Policy Objects to add categories, but not to set colors. And GPO can't be used to deploy rules. -- Sue Mosher, Outlook MVP Author of Microsoft Outlook 2007 Programming: Jumpstart for Power Users and Administrators http://www.outlookcode.com/article.aspx?id=54 "Kenny" wrote: We are getting ready to deploy Exchange 2007 and Outlook 2007.
