Default No transport provider was available for delivery to this recipie

When trying to set outlook 2000 as my default email server, I get this
message when attempting to mail someone..." No transport provider was
available for delivery to this recipient." Can I get some help?

Sounds like you don't have an account configured in Outlook.

This error message also occurs in Outlook 2000 if you have an Exchange
Server account AND a POP3/SMTP account configured in the SAME Outlook
profile; this configuration is not supported:
