I reinstalled Outlook 2002 after a memory board crash. Could not find any
files on my old hd with the extension .rwz. I recreated my Rules file on my new laptop and STILL can't find where Outlook is putting it; no .rwz files discovered during a Search. 1. Where does Outlook put files (by default)? 2. If I were to export the Rules file, can I still use it? 3. I searched MS's site for any help on file storage for Outlook 2002, but there is nothing (though there is one for Outlook 2003). Thanks |

In Outlook 2002 and later, the Rules are stored in the .PST file, not in a
separate .RWZ file. If your .PST file is the default mail delivery location, you should see the rules listed (I'm not clear from your post if you are actually seeing your rules or not). Here is an article that lists where Outlook 2002 files are located: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.asp -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** "Em" wrote: I reinstalled Outlook 2002 after a memory board crash.
