Outlook 2002: Where is Rules file stored?

Default Outlook 2002: Where is Rules file stored?

I reinstalled Outlook 2002 after a memory board crash. Could not find any
files on my old hd with the extension .rwz. I recreated my Rules file on my
new laptop and STILL can't find where Outlook is putting it; no .rwz files
discovered during a Search.
1. Where does Outlook put files (by default)?
2. If I were to export the Rules file, can I still use it?
3. I searched MS's site for any help on file storage for Outlook 2002, but
there is nothing (though there is one for Outlook 2003).

Default Outlook 2002: Where is Rules file stored?

In Outlook 2002 and later, the Rules are stored in the .PST file, not in a
separate .RWZ file. If your .PST file is the default mail delivery location,
you should see the rules listed (I'm not clear from your post if you are
actually seeing your rules or not). Here is an article that lists where
Outlook 2002 files are located:
