Default Finding Outlook.pst

I believe Outlook creates a file called outlook.pst, when exporting data from
outlook we can create another “pst” file.
I had my profile corrupted and cannot log on properly, thus cannot open
outlook to export and data. However I can access my old
applicationdata\microsoft\outlook folder but cannot find the “outlook.pst”
file. So I looked from another PC with outlook working, doing an export I
could see several pst files that were exported; however I cannot see these
from search or windows explorer even on the pc that works.
How can I find the original outlook.pst file to import it into the new
outlook?
Many thanks

Hi Terry,

PST files are hided by default on Windows 2000, XP and Vista systems. You do
not find any PST files if you would not change the "Folder Options"

On the slipstick website that I posted:
"Where do you find these files? You can always start by using your operating
system's Search or Find command to locate the particular file types. On
Windows 2000 or XP, you may need to use Tools | Folder Options | View in
Windows Explorer and select Show hidden files and folders."

Did you changed this settings and after you changed this settings you did
not find any PST files??

Default Finding Outlook.pst

Hi Thanks
I have changed the folder settings to show all enclucing hidden. I still
cannot find the Outlook.pst even by doing a search, I find none. Not even for
the profiles that are working. So there must be some other spot or method I
have not completed to show "ALL" files, I just do not know where to do it.
