I just set up a clean install of XP Pro and office 2007. Now Outlook cannot
get to my mail server. On another machine with Office 2003 and an older install of XP Outlook works fine. I also have an Exchange Server in house; I can connect to Exchange fine in both cases. However when I add POP3 mail to the same profile (I even tried a separate profile) I get the error cannot connect to mail. If I turn off the firewall it seems to work. The firewall has the exception for Outlook. What else can I check? |
