I have lab environment with SBS2003 and XP workstations, all is fine. I
purchased a new laptop and installed Vista RC1 and Office Beta (including the tech refresh). I can not get outlook to connect to my exchange server. I enter the server name and user name as always but it times out trying to connect. The following message pops up: The name cannot be resolved. the connection to Microsoft Exchange is unabable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action. I suspect something amiss with firewall setting? |

In my case, the issue resolved itself when I changed from Vista RC1 and
Office 2007 Beta to the full versions. I heard elsewhere this problem was a know issue with the Beta's. "Derek Kerr" wrote: I am having the same problem with outlook 2007 attaching to exchange 2007.
