Default upgrade issues: Outlook express won't start

I upgraded from windows Me to Windows Xp. I also upgraded to Internet
explorer 7.0. I cannot run Outlook Express anymore.

When i click on OE, i am prompted to insert the 2000 SP-1 CD to reinstall
Outlook Express. This computer was given to me, so I do not have the CD's to
reinstall.

Does anyone know how I can fix this so I can access OE? I have spent a lot
of time searching ith no clear answers. Please help! Thanks.
