Default Outlook 2003 Upgrade Rules Issues

I have a smaill network around 40 PC's and we recently upgraded
Exchange from 2000 to 2003 and I am also updating all clients to 2003.
I have a general email account that all incoming email goes into. On
one machine I had some rules that would take all email from certain
senders and place it in a folder under the inbox. For instance Jane
Doe - Plant 1 and John Doe - Plant 1 into a folder called "Plant1".
Now the rules will not work. So I started recreating the rules but I
cannot get the rules to work for more and one sender. Ie when I right
click on the message from John Doe and create the rule to send it to
Plant1 folder it works. If then go in and modify this rule to include
Jane Doe it does not work. The one thing I am seeing is this, In my
address book I have John Doe with a display name of "John Doe - Plant
1" and "Jane Doe - Plant 1". When the email comes it it is listed as
"John Doe" or "Jane Doe" in the senders field. When I create a rule by
right clicking the message it creates it with "Jane Doe" or "John Doe".
But when I go to add a person from the address book to the rule it
adds them as "Jane Doe - Plant 1" or "John Doe Plant 1" and it will not
work. If I try just typing it in "John Doe" or "Jane Doe" outlook
looks up the name and changes it to "Jane Doe - Plant 1" or "John Doe -
Plant1" and it does not work.

The address book is located on the server.

When I was creating views I was forced to manually write the criteria
SQL statement without the name in the address book but as it was
displayed on screen. Can I go In and manually write the rule logic?
Can this be done any other way.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help,

Darren
