I was previously using read/delivery receipts to track my email, however, I
decided to only use it selectively in the future. I assumed that it would only send a delivery notification or read receipt if the boxes were appropriately checked on an email basis. However, I now find that I am still receiving read and delivery receipts despite not having any specific boxes checked. I then uninstalled Office 2003 from my system and reinstalled it without deleting my mail PST files. I am still having the problem and cannot determine how to fix the problem. Has anyone run into this before and how do you resolve? |

Is it safe to assume that you have verified the options at Tools Options

Next thing I would check is Tools Rules and Alerts and verify there isn't
