I just got a new computer at work. Operating system is XP professional. I
have adminstrator rights. It has office 2003, but not outlook. I installed outlook 2000. Installation appears OK. when starting outlook, I get a message saying operation failed - when I click OK, outlook terminates. I am also not able to open the outlook mail profiles from the control panel. When I double click the icon, nothing happens. My guess is the two are related. Is there something in the registry or group permissions that may be turned off? I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Any help appreciated. |
