I got this problem after an upgrade from office 2003 to OfficeXP+Sp3 and now
I am getting the same problem with this error message: AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.5510.0 AppStamp:3f1380f0 ModName: outlcm.dll ModVer: 10.0.2623.0 ModStamp:3a97f64e fDebug: 0 Offset: 00023017 it seems that the MVP's are not real fast on this one and i also have a tick box that says to restart outlook but i get the same thing over and over........( gee if they built cars this bad we would all be dead even the rich..!!!! hey Bill). I have done the scanpst thing and deleted the extend.dat & outcmd.dat but nothing seems to work....... so much for keeping up to date. "Luc" wrote: I'v a problem with outlook 2003 I've installed on several PC 's (win XP SP1 and win2k SP4) and on more the half of the PC's Outlook 2003 crashes after a few actions. AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 11.0.6353.0 AppStamp:408f2937 ModName: mso.dll ModVer: 11.0.6360.0 ModStamp:40d147de fDebug: 0 Offset: 00034359 And I find this msg in the application Log Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937, faulting module mso.dll, version 11.0.6360.0, stamp 40d147de, debug? 0, fault address 0x00034359. What I already found: There are no problems during the installation of Office 2003. Everything is working fine except outlook 2003. There is no special action to undertake for generating the error. It isn’t related to an Operating System (It happens on win 2K and win XP) The origin of the error is still unknown. Repair of Office 2003 doesn’t fix the problem. Full uninstall/reinstall of Office2003 doesn’t fix the problem. Problem can happen immediately or after some time (from a few days till a more than a month). There has been no connection found with Add-ins or COM’s. The problem is related to the PC and not the account. The problem occurs with and without the Office 2003 patches. Does anyone has the same problem or maybe even better, a sollution? |

Actually, going from Office 2003 to Office XP is a DOWNgrade, not an

I am happy to say that after spending 2 hours on the phone w/MS the problem
is finally gone!!!!! According to MS sometimes the files Outlook uses become corrupted when your virus/ad-aware programs scan them. We had to go into a bunch of folders and also msconfig and rename a bunch of files and it fixed the problem. If you want to know what files to rename let me know. I'm somewhat computer literate, however I cannot exactly remember where I had to navigate to in order to get to the files. "Buster Davis" wrote: See this ms article. 912022.
