Outlook Express suddenly stopped downloading mail. All other functions
continued to work. It would appear to have related to my pst file being too large. I tried deleting lots of emails, but could still not fix the problem. So I decided to purchase and install Office 2003 including Outlook. It managed to find the old pst file and the problem persisted. So I tried moving the pst file, but it won't create a new one. I tried renaming it .old, and it tries to open the file but gets stuck half ways through and not even Outlook will open. I don't care about importing the old addresses and mails, I am happy to start from scratch. But despite uninstalling and reinstalling, it just keeps wanting an existing pst file... how do I get a new, clean pst file?!?! |
