Default outlook crashes norton ccp or cpp ?

I would like to know if it is possible to have outlook retrieve emails from
one account at a time instead of trying to get them all at once.

Every now and then i have to restart the pc as norton crashes, i have had
this problem since i first got the pc and reinstalled it all and norton too,
but still i get this now and then.

there must be an option but i am not sure where to look, looked at all i can
so far.

maybe it is not possible.

thank you in advance for your help.

Jason

Simply disable the Norton email integration (useless and a problem causer)
and you should be fine. Post back with any problems encountered once the
integration is disabled, if any.

Norton doesn't NEED to check emails - it is a marketing weasels sop to
uninformed users who want to have the latest/greatest protection from their
AV solution and get them to pay for something that does nothing.

1. Any real time/on access AV scanner scans items when they are opened and
alerts you then. Your Norton AV scanner will catch this. It applies to
files and e-mail files.

2. Any outgoing email scanner will only catch any "Infected" file going out
from your system - which means that you are about 2 steps too LATE to
protect your system. Your AV should have caught the virus at system level,
not when sending.
