I have two e-mail accounts configured in Outlook. One exchange server
(primary) and a POP account (secondary). Everything works great except one thing. Whenever I select to send a message through the POP account, the sent item is saved in the sent folder of the exchange account, not the POP account. I have searched everywhere and cannot find an answer. Can anyone help? |

Thanks for letting me know, but why does the POP (Personal Folders) account
display another complete set of folders similar to the default group? "Brian Tillman" wrote: DJHouse wrote: I have two e-mail accounts configured in Outlook. Thanks for letting me know, but why does the POP (Personal Folders) account display another complete set of folders similar to the default group? Because you added another set? In a single mail profile where there are multiple POP accounts, or both Exchange and POP accounts, there is only one set of default folders. Although you can create as many folder sets as you want, only one of those sets is the default set, which is specified in the profile properties. For Outlok 2002/2003, click ToolsE-mail AccountsNext and examine the "Deliver new e-mail to the following location" drop-down at the bottom left. That's where your set of default folders will reside. Now, if you have more than one mail profile on your computer, each profile will have its own set of default folders, but you generally won't see one profile's folders in another profile. -- Brian Tillman |
