Can I import my huge "JUNK" address list from Eudora to Outlook?
Hello:
I am trying to migrate to MS Outlook from Eudora. For years, Eudora has build up a huge file of JUNK email addresses, which it automatically diverts out of my InBox. Is there any way I can import that list into Outlook? I am using Norton on Outlook, but now I have to start "teaching" it all over again. Please help me to avoid this work! Thanks. -- lewisma9

Outlook 2002 does not have a particularly useful junk mail filter. I'd recommend that you get one of the tools (many of them free) listed at http://www.slipstick.com/rules/junkmail.htm#tools

I wouldn't know. I won't allow Norton on any of my machines. (Sorry I missed its mention in your original post.) And I find that junk senders lists are largely a waste of time.

I found that Norton's SPAM filter worked very well for me in Eudora. It took
a while to "learn" from my identifications (easy to do), but in the end, it was taking out about 98-99% of my SPAM. (I get a lot of spam! A result of my mainly online work.) I want to import my "junk" list from Eudora, because it has 3 years of Spam addresses in it, and I don't like having to start all over in Outlook.
