Hi,
I read with great interest the posts related to cached mode vs. non-cached mode, etc. Our set-up is like this: Office 2003, Windows XP Prof, Exchange Server. The recommendation is to work in Cached Mode. However, this may cause the following problems: some users, not all, cannot activate their Out-of-Office message if Cached Mode is enabled. They have to do it via WebMail. Also, let's say for example that a user works off-site, at a client's; in order to get his e-mail, using his laptop, he has to work Online and not Connected. When he comes back to the office, he does not have access to some of his filed e-mails because he's Online and not Connected. Why is that? Hélène |
