Hi,
I have something that really puzzles me. We use a archiving system for our Exchange 2000 machines. In this archiving system I have set a policy to archive a message and delete the attachments from a message when the message is bigger than 200K. This works just fine for internal mail. But external mail is archived and the attachement is not taken from the message. When I retrieve the message from the archiving system and have it restub after e.g. an hour, the attachment is deleted from the message. Is there a difference between external mail and internal mail once it have arrived in your mailbox? According to IBM, supplier of the archiving system, there should not be a difference. Thanks for your reply. Frank |
