where are the up and down arrows so I can move between messages?

Default where are the up and down arrows so I can move between messages?

now installed Outlook 2007 and in contrast to older versions of Express etc
where there were very handy up and donw arrows to read messages one after the
other I have to shut down the message window each time and then reopen next
message- sorry if I am being an idiot but can't find these on tool bar

Did you try the Up and Down arrow buttons on your keyboard

In the QAT (Quick Access Toolbar ) of the message window, I guess.

in an open message, try Ctrl+ or
in closed messages, use the arrow keys.
