Hi Gayla
Go to Tools / Options/ Preferences and then on the top line where it says
'Junk email' and 'email options', click on email options. About half way down
the page it says 'When Replying to a Message' in that drop down if you have
selected "Prefix each line of original message" this will put the selected
prefix in front of each line. So just select a different option such as
'include original message text' and that annoying will go away. Hope this
helps
