There seems to be no way to force Outlook 2002 not to do any line
breaks. A line break will always be done between the offered 30 to 132
characters ("0" doesn`t work...). This e. g. means that any URL longer
than 132 characters will be broken. It means that a plain text, copied
from a word processor, has to be sent as an attachment for avoiding
unwanted line breaks.

Eudora can send plain text emails without any line breaks with the
push of a button in the composing window since about 10 years.

Is Microsoft sleeping or what?

Thanks

you need to send it using quoted-printable and that involves a registry
tweak if you version doesn't offer it as an option.

I sent an email to myself after doing the registry tweak on my german
Windows XP/Outlook 2002 SP3:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;q27813

The header of the mail says, that quoted printable was used. But long
URLs are still broken.

Regards

AFAIK, Outlook 2002 is broken with regard to quoted-printable and long line lengths.
