Default Can't access forms

Outlook 2007 / Vista Home Premium

On opening a custom Contacts form today I received the following message

"the form required to view this message cannot be displayed"

A Google search turned up a few hits but I am instructed to delete file
frmcache.dat from Windows/Forms. I have no Forms folder in Windows and
a search of the C:\ drive turns up no such file.
Guidance please.

Include hidden files/folders in your search.

Thanks for the reply.
ContactsFormsManage - where is 'Hidden' so I can check it?
FWIW, tried this morning to edit ANY of my custom forms.
Popup - "The form you selected cannot be displayed. The form required
to view this message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator.

Tried all three methods. Still get
"The form you selected cannot be displayed. The form required to view
this message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator."
I get the message whether I choose Manager, Choose Form, or Design Form.

Plan B?

Don't know if this is related or not
Can't sync my phone with Outlook. Keep getting "Device not connected."
