Default support code:800703fa?

Hello,

Whilst trying to synchronize Outlook 2003 contacts with a T-Mobile MDA
Vario I the message "Synchronization could not be completed" appears
together with the support code: 800703fa.

Any idea what specifically this code indicates?

Cheers,

Geoff

PS I am told that a MS private ActiveSync NG will start next January -
better late than never I suppose!

Why would you need a private newsgroup for ActiveSync?
There is a public one already for years where you can ask your ActiveSync
questions;
microsoft.public.pocketpc.activesync

Good luck!

Roady,

Yes, I have just come across the public one and it is fine. I do like
to have the occasional contact with a MS employee!

Cheers

Geoff

Good luck!

There are private newsgroups as well, but they're reserved for MVPs, AFAIK.

Then you probably mean managed newsgroups;
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../ms788697.aspx

Instead of hoping that a Microsoft support employee picks you out of the big
pile of questions, it's better to contact a Microsoft support employee
instead by using another more direct method of contacting them. Calling is
the most effective, second is starting your support ticket on-line.
