Not sure if it's possible but try creating one in Outlook then exporting the
Calendar folder to an XLS file then take a look at it to see how Outlook does it. "********Meg" wrote in message ... Does anyone know how to import recurring appointments from an excel sheet? Office 2003 Windows XP |

Outlook always makes you choose a range of dates and then exports them as single items for the date range. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook] |

you can't import them as recurring - you need to set that field after
import. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Sure, as long as you know how to write them. The easiest way to see how they
are written is to save an ics then open in notepad. For most people, importing from excel then setting the recurring flag in outlook is easier. ![]() the dates. That is fairly simple using Excel formulas and features. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: You can access this newsgroup by visiting http://www.microsoft.com/office/comm...s/default.mspx or point your newsreader to msnews.microsoft.com. Thanks everyone. I actually created it in outlook, exported it and added it
to the rest of my appointments. This was the easiest solution. "********Meg" wrote in message ... Does anyone know how to import recurring appointments from an excel sheet? Office 2003 Windows XP Thanks |

... Thanks everyone. I actually created it in outlook, exported it Hmmm. next time do it the EASY way. If it's only a small number of appointments, just attach them to an email and send it to yourself. Or, if it's a large number then create a new pst file in Outlook, copy the appointments to it, close it and do the reverse in the instance of Outlook you want to transfer the appointments to.... |
