I am a new user to Outlook and have been trying to get used to the calendar
(I am used to Lotus Notes). I can accept meeting invitations, and they show
up in my agenda. However, if I take the option 'Send Response Now', the
response gets stuck in my outbox. I can still send normal mail, but the
meeting responses stay stuck until I delete them (meaning that the person who
invited me doesn't know if I've accepted or not). There's probably a setting
somewhere that I've missed, but I'd appreciate some help, please?

What kind of mail server are you using in the office? Also, which version of
Outlook are you using? I'm curious if the response are 'stuck' trying to
find a path to the local mail server or such
