I have posted before in this group and received the suggestion to
check out: http://support.microsoft.com/?id=290684 and I did this and followed every step to try to resolve the problem of Outlook wanting me to enter my password every time I open the program and then every few minutes after that. I've even tried uninstalling the entire Outlook program and reinstalling, removing my email account and then adding it as a new one. The problem does not seem to be with Gmail, my email account. When I try to edit the registry to remove the information, there is nothing under the Protected Storage System Provider key. My sign-on information is not being saved, even though I check the box to save my password every time. How can I remove ALL settings for Outlook without losing my mail? I'm not sure which *.pst to delete. This what I have: ~last~.sharing.xml.obi archive.pst extend.dat Outlook.pst Outlook.sharing.xml.obi Outlook.xml.kfl Personal Folders(1).pst I hope someone can help me with this very annoying problem. Thanks. Pat |

I'm using the latest Internet Explorer 7. Windows XP, SP3 is
completely up-to-date and so is Outlook 2007. I followed the instructions on the website below to edit the registry but it didn't help. do not have enough rights to effect any changes. They may be able to identify the problem for you. Nikki Peterson "patetc" wrote in message ... I'm using the latest Internet Explorer 7.
