Why are attachments sometime visible on the preview pane header bar, but
sometimes I have to open the mail to see the filename to click on? I have no idea how many I may have missed because of this. XP sp2 OutlookXP -- Jim S |

At the very top of your open message (above the menu bar)
the subject line of your message will show, along with they type of message (HTML, RTF, etc). However, I use the "Paperclip" as a signal that there is an attachment in my message. If you are in the default view for your messages in Outlook, to the left of the subject:: (paper clip) icon = If a paperclip shows next to the message then an attachment is present. Microsoft has a page that explains this with a few pictures: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/he...319531033.aspx Nikki Peterson "Jim S" wrote in message ...
