Default Can I Set a Public Folder to be the Startup Folder?

In OL 2007, if I go to tools|options|other|advanced options, and try
to change the startup folder, it only allows me to select personal
folders. Is it possible to select a public folder as the startup
folder?

not in the selector but you can do it using a startup switch. outlook may
seem to load slower.
