I created a signature in Outlook 2003 and when I compose a new message the
signature is invisible. Once the message is composed, if I run my cursor
over the signature I can see it's there but in order for it to be visible I
then have to go to font and change it to black in order for it to be visible
in the final message. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

Not using stationery. To create the signature I went to TOOLS, then OPTIONS,
then MAIL FORMAT, then SIGNATURES, then created a new signature in the box
provided, hit OK, etc. Thanks!

so you used all the defaults and no stationery, so it should be black text
on white... I'd check the signature and apply black as the text color.

I actually set the color to black. But I just created a new one (started all
over) and now it's appearing correctly. Must have just been some sort of
glitch. Thanks for your help!

Obviously when you created the sig you set the color to white or to the same as the background color. White on white or any color the same as the background will not show unless you highlight it or as you do run the cursor over it. Create a new (same) sig taking care that it is black in color not white or the same color as the background.

i have been having the same problem and my computer tech support guy at the
office couldn't even figure it out. he told me to do a search for this
problem which is how i came accross your post. i'm going to try to create a
new one and see if i can get it to work now, too. but the font is definitely
set to black and it comes up invisible, or white. this is so annoying!

ok, just figured it out. i had accidentally put "stationery" as "blank"
instead of as "none". that is what was causing the problem. just thought
i'd share in case anyone else ever has this problem.
