Hi there,
I'm having a problem with Outlook 2003 (part of Office 2003 SBE) running on Windows XP Media Center (which may be the problem, as it's not Pro). We're trying to connect to the Exchange server on the local subnet. Each time we start Exchange, it again asks us for the username and password (with the username typed in as THISCOMPUTER \username, and no password). The save password box is just missing - not greyed out. I have exhausted every last resource googling for solutions and have tried the Microsoft KB articles about the Protected Storage service, to no avail. This is the bosses computer so we aren't keen on quick fix/ workarounds unless there is absolutely no other solution. I would be very grateful for any insights. All the other machines on the network are XP Pro so I wonder if XP Media Centre just does not have the option? Many thanks, Andrew King |
