All,
I had several users who were able to edit email addresses for contacts on both PF and private contacts folder while viewing contacts in table view. example, modify Phone list or by category view and add email address field to the view. Try to edit the email address for a contact. This worked fine in Outlook 2002 SP2 with Exchange 2003 SP2 but is not working on Exchange 2003 Sp2 with Outlook 2003 SP2. Has anyone seen this and know how I can go back to using this small but critical functionality? Thanks, Rafael |

That's not possible. You'll need to open the contacts in Outlook 2003.

Hi Sue and thanks for the reply. I did not give up on this issue and
finally got it to work in the most unconventional way. Here is what I did: 1. Installed Outlook XP(2002 SP3) 2. Logged in as user1 and created a view that allowed me to edit the email address field 3. Went back to the original PC that has Outlook 2003 SP2 and when I switch to the view created previously, I am now able to edit emails from that view. Not sure what happened here but I got it to work the way I wanted it so, viva la persistence. Thanks again! Rafael "Sue Mosher [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... That's not possible.
