Default Right-click context menu doesn't show any more?

Hi all,

Like the subject says - what gives? It worked fine for years - then
for the last couple of weeks, it's been hit and miss - mostly miss.

Any advice of the form "re-install" will be taken simply as "use
Thunderbird".

Thanks,

cdj

Any issues in other programs? Is it just Outlook that has issues? What
version of Outlook? Does it only happen in a message compose window, or
does it happen in the main window? What version of Outlook? Any add-ins
installed?

Is 'detect and repair' the same as 'reinstall' in your world?

Nope.

Is it just Outlook that has issues?

Same question, same answer.

What version of Outlook?

2003 - my apologies: I thought I included that bit of information.

Does it only happen in a message compose window, or does it happen in the main window?

It's only an issue in the email-listing-pane. The folder pane and the
email body pane are issue-free.

What version of Outlook?

Same question, same answer.

Any add-ins installed?

Two - ZoneAlarm, and an auto-attachment-de-attacher. They've been
installed for a few years. The issue has existed for a few weeks.

Is 'detect and repair' the same as 'reinstall' in your world?

Nope. Unfortunately, it had no effect. All remains as I've described.

Thanks,

cdj

Ok, so I was redundant in my questions. Sorry about that.

Try this.

Exit completely out of Outlook and make sure it's not still running in Task
Manager.
Go to c:\Documents and Settings\%user%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft and rename the forms directory to forms.old and see if that
fixes the problem.

Had no discernible effect either good or bad, that I can tell. The
forms directory was not re-created (I don't know if you expected it to
be).
