Does anybody know if MS ever published the layout/definition of Outlooks
..pst files and if they did can you point me at them please. I have a hankering to delve into them but would like a file layout rather than just feeling around in the dark? Thanks |

No, it's not documented.

It should be documented, because I use a software called "SyncPST" to
sync outlook from my Notebook and Desktop, and this software works *only* when Outlook is not active in both computers. So the makers of SyncPST should know how the data is stored in the PST files. Maybe you should contact them. "ChrisRM" wrote: Does anybody know if MS ever published the layout/definition of Outlooks .pst files and if they did can you point me at them please.
