Default .pst file definition

Does anybody know if MS ever published the layout/definition of Outlooks
..pst files and if they did can you point me at them please.

I have a hankering to delve into them but would like a file layout rather
than just feeling around in the dark?

Thanks

No, it's not documented.

It should be documented, because I use a software called "SyncPST" to
sync outlook from my Notebook and Desktop, and this software works
*only* when Outlook is not active in both computers. So the makers of
SyncPST should know how the data is stored in the PST files.

Maybe you should contact them.
