I was involved in the beta test for Office2k7, but never found this
feature, and still not sure what it is. I am pressed for time right now, so I did a quick search on MS' site and didn't turn up anything. Maybe later, if no one else knows what it is, I will have to do a better search. In Outlook2k7, if you open a NEW email, begin typing the body, and hit the ALT key, in the top left corner of the screen, a series of button images pop up. What are they? When I clicked one, the buttons changed, but nothing seemed to have happened. Any ideas? TIA, Dave |

Diane:
Thanks for the info. You know, in all the time I played with Outlook 2007 during the beta, I never found that. Then again, I generally use the traditional shortcuts and function keys. I guess this just goes to show my fingers don't slide off the proper keys too often. When I mentioned it to a couple other people, they said, "Yeah, I see that all the time." They didn't have a clue, either. ![]() Again, thanks! Cheers! -dave On Fri, 9 Feb 2007 17:39:10 -0500, "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: those are reminders for the shortcuts for those menu commands. IE, if you press Alt and press a letter that shows up in the 'little buttons' it will initiate the command. |
