When I drag an email to the task button to create a task, is the
original email then moved? Or only a copy? I'm using outlook 2007, switching from Entourage on mac. thanks, sharon |

Left mouse drag copies, right mouse drag lets you choose Move or Copy.
I hope this helps you at least a little bit! Judy Gleeson MVP Outlook Outlook trainer and author of Productiv_IT with Outlook www.acorntraining.com.au Canberra, Australia Knowledge is of two kinds. Great thanks.
One thing I LOVED about entourage is that it linked the task to the message -- so the original message could be stored anywhere. It also did this automatically when you created a task from the message. I'm hoping I can find a way to get outlook to the same. Nice to know how to avoid accidentally losing the message altogether ![]() thanks again!
