Default What happens to the original email when it gets made into a task?

Great thanks.

One thing I LOVED about entourage is that it linked the task to the
message -- so the original message could be stored anywhere. It also
did this automatically when you created a task from the message. I'm
hoping I can find a way to get outlook to the same. Nice to know how
to avoid accidentally losing the message altogether.

thanks again!

Left mouse drag copies, right mouse drag lets you choose Move or Copy.

I hope this helps you at least a little bit!

Drag, yes. Ctrl+ drag, no.

When I drag an email to the task button to create a task, is the
original email then moved? Or only a copy? I'm using outlook 2007,
switching from Entourage on mac.
thanks,
sharon
