I have years worth of old e-mails that I had accessed through outlook
(I don't use outlook currently for new mail). All of my old emails are gone, and I don't know where they went or how I can find them. They may have been lost when I removed one of my accounts. Can anyone help? |

You say you dont use outlook anymore, could have been a linked pst file
that stored all your archived mail? I would assume thats still on your machine but since you no longer use outlook you cant open it. michaelrkendrick wrote: I have years worth of old e-mails that I had accessed through outlook (I don't use outlook currently for new mail). I still have outlook on my machine, I just don't use outlook as my
email client. So, because I have unlinked this archived folder from outlook, am I still unable to access its contents? If you don't use Outlook any more, then you have no way of accessing that old mail, since only Outlook can read Outlook's data files where your old mail is stored. That said, here are the default locations for Outlook's files: http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm#fileloc -- Brian Tillman |
