Backing up and reimporting accounts
Is there a way to backup the mail accounts info in Outlook 2000? I need to
reformat my harddrive and want to make installation as easy as possible. All I want to backup and restore are the ACCOUNT info. My system is running SO SLOW (no virus, no spyware etc... that I have been able to find) so I don't want to move anything else into my clean registry except account info. Thanks Bruce

Backing up and reimporting accounts
If running Outlook 2000 in Internet Mail Only mode, you can export your
account information. Look under the File menu. If running in Corporate or Workgroup mode, it is not so easy. You can export your mail to Outlook Express and save that account information for import back into Outlook once reinstalled. -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the news group to keep the discussion intact.
